On the verge to drown,
looked around, no one’s in town,
maybe I’ll put on some sound,
so I won’t feel so down.
There is no denying that we all go through rough phases. We all have different ways of coping with them.
Be it meeting a friend for meaningful conversation or playing your favorite sport or instrument. Choose your poison.
I chose music. The times I feel I’m low, instrumental music soothes me up. Melodic songs make me feel the way nothing else can.
Being a big fan of Coldplay, I just put their playlist and let the lyrics sink. Be it the scientist, fix you, clocks, ocean, any more to mention, I never get enough of good music.
I never stick to a genre or a language when it comes to music, be it English, Spanish, Hindi, or Punjabi, and ranging from Indie, Rock, R&B, or desi pop.
And my Grammy awards speech is over. You let me know down in the comments is music a way to deal with some rough times for you? and what’s your favorite type of music?
