Not to shine

Being a bullseye is not the goal,
to do adequate, that’s my role,

Even when I don’t roar, 
I’m contented deep down to the core,

To have all the flash on me,
So much, that I can’t even see,

To shine or not to shine,
Only I’m going to define.
